CH-ARTED (Customs House Arts Education) has evolved through The Customs House cultural development team's desire to share our information, projects and resources with you all.
The Customs House has a long standing commitment and passion towards arts and education. We believe that the arts have the flexibility to transform lives and support learning for all ages and abilities.
What we do:
We deliver programmes for children and young people; including: arts in schools programmes, Gallery Education and Outreach work, Theatre in Education, Arts Award training and support to young people and their advisers, Artsmark training and surgeries, youth arts groups, we work in Early Years education and with the Looked After Children’s service.
We have delivered National Programmes including, Creative Partnerships, Find Your Talent and currently the Youth Dance Hub programme.
We deliver programmes for the wider community; Gallery Education and Outreach work, Theatre in Education, community arts groups and arts and health programmes.
