Two creative resources for anyone interested in learning about fine arts practice, devised by Shoofly Publishing in partnership with The Customs House Gallery.
The Virtual Sketchbook resource can be used to support learning and teaching in Art and Design at KS2. It has been designed for non-specialist Primary School teachers to support the fundamental components of basic drawing and painting. Schools can use this resource to support National Curriculum Schemes of Work Unit 6C: A sense of place (Year 5/6). The resource has also been designed for use with the Interactive Whiteboard.
The Once Upon A Time – Story Telling Through Craft resource has been designed to support the development of young people’s traditional handicraft skills leading to the creation and telling of stories through textiles. This resource is suitable to use with young people from ages six upwards. This resource was devised by Shoofly Publishing as an accessible way of learning about and experimenting with handicrafts whilst using ICT skills and English Language.
